Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Ukuku World ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are a parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of a child, you represent that you have the authority to bind your child to these terms.

Description of Service

Ukuku World provides bedtime stories, sleep sounds, and calming games designed for children ages 3-8. The App is available on iOS and Android devices and may be accessed through free and premium subscription tiers.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of the App.

Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features are available through subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective terms.

Intellectual Property

All content in Ukuku World, including stories, sounds, games, graphics, and software, is owned by Ukuku World Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Share your subscription with unauthorized users
• Upload or transmit any harmful content
• Interfere with the App's operation or security

Content Disclaimer

While we strive to provide age-appropriate, calming content, Ukuku World is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice. If your child has sleep disorders or other health concerns, please consult a healthcare professional.

Limitation of Liability

Ukuku World is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the past 12 months.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Ukuku World at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
